MITIP2009 – a conference worth considering

mitip2009The purpose of the Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprises conference is  to serve as a forum for the dissemination of ideas, knowledge and experiences about the ICT-driven innovation in industrial products, processes and services. The conference is targeted to scholars and practitioners involved in research activities focusing on the role of ICT in modern industrial enterprises, and it particularly focuses on the exchange of ideas between Eastern and Western Europe. Having recently been asked by Roberto Pinto, who also runs riskcentral.org,  to join the scientific committee for the conference, I feel obliged to advertise this conference. This year’s conference is the 11th conference and runs from 15 to 16 October 2009 in Bergamo, Italy.

The conference is hosted by the University of Bergamo, Bergamo, Italy. Bergamo is a beautiful city in the centre of Lombardy, about 50 km from Milan, and can easily be reached by air, since there is an international airport frequented by low-cost carriers only 5km from the city centre.
